Guests looking to enjoy a meal in an enchanted forest setting will be delighted to know that reservations for Storybook Dining at Artist Point are now open.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge invites guests to venture into a magical forest-like environment that was inspired by Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The rustic décor throughout the lodge will bring this new experience to life along with iconic music. As we reported when this new experience was announced, guests will be visited by Snow White along with a few of her forest-dwelling friends; guests may even have an evil encounter with the Queen.

There will be a seasonal-themed menu combining “classic dishes with playful presentation.” The fairytale experience will begin with a variety of shared appetizers: Hunter’s Pie with chicken, black truffle, and stone fruit preserve; Winter Squash Bisque with caramel loli and granola served in a black cauldron; Wicked Shrimp Cocktail with soy, miso, avocado, Thai chili, and greens; and From the Garden, an assortment of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and create-your-own honey butter.

And what is an enchanted fairytale without a sweet ending? Dessert is a selection of various items for the table. The Miner’s Treasure made up of sponge cake, chocolate gems, and buttercream icing or enchanted flavors of the Fairy Tale Gooseberry Pie with meringue. Try a “Poison” Apple consisting of white chocolate apple mousse with a sour center. The Hunter’s Gift to the Queen might be just the thing with crackled maple popcorn and ganache hearts.

An assortment of wickedly refreshing cocktails and non-alcoholic mocktails have been concocted just for the occasion. Adults can try the Enchanted Apple with citrus vodka, sour apple, and white cranberry juice or The Smoking Mirror with scotch, wildberry, lime, and rosemary smoke. Those who are feeling particularly evil might love the Evil to the Core with silver tequila, habanero, blackberry, and orange juice. A variety of beers are also available along with a selection of highly-rated wines from Oregon and Washington State. Non-alcoholic options for the smaller miners include the Transformation Potion with sparkling lemonade and the Stone Fruit and Berry Breeze with herbal tea infusion.
