Walt Disney World has shared an update for Annual Pass-holders about the Disney Park Pass system, as well as alternative options for managing their pass.

Starting Thursday, July 16, additional Disney Park Pass reservation availability will be offered to Annual Passholders on select dates in July and August at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Keep in mind, however, that this additional reservation availability doesn’t mean that there will be an increase in park attendance for now. You can check out the reservation system at this linkand take a look at the Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar here.

Annual Passholders staying at select Disney Resort hotels or other select hotels with valid theme park admission are eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of their stay, and in addition, all Annual passholders can now make theme park reservations for up to 3 days at a time on a rolling basis. Once a theme park reservation has been used, you can make another reservation for a future visit, and so on.

In addition, starting today, July 14, Passholders can receive 30-percent off select merchandise purchases at Walt Disney World’s owned-and-operated merchandise locations now through Aug. 14, 2020.

In June, Disney announced that Annual Passholders can receive a one-month extension to their pass. This extra month will be processed and become visible in your My Disney Experience account over the next few weeks.

If you don’t want the extra month added on, you can choose to cancel your pass. Those who go with this option will have their pass canceled effective Aug. 12, 2020. Passholders can choose this option now through Aug. 11, 2020 by clicking on a personalized link that will be included in a future email detailing all of these updates, or by calling V.I.Passholder Support at (407) 939-7227. Once submitted, these selections cannot be changed, so be sure you’re set on your choice beforehand.
