Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Cirque du Soleil has announced that it will temporarily suspend the upcoming previews for “Drawn to Life,” a new show that was set to debut at Disney Springs.
This decision follows the postponement of many other Cirque du Soleil shows worldwide in the past few days, and takes into consideration the current group gathering recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
“Our priority has always been, and remains, the health and safety of our artists, our partners, our employees and our audiences,” said the company via a press release statement. “We will continue to monitor and asses the situation to determine when the show previews will start.”
Those who purchased tickets for one of the impacted preview performances of “Drawn to Life” will be contacted by their point of sale.
