According to an article published in the Orlando Sentinel, Eric Clinton, the leader of the Local 362 Union, updated his members on what the process of returning to work at the Disney theme parks and Resorts might look like.

The company doesn’t plan to bring back seasonal workers or resume the Disney College Program immediately, according to the union.

If anyone thinks that [Disney] college program workers are coming back anytime soon, they are mistaken, Clinton said.

[Disney] will also need to staff Spaceship Earth, the ride inside EPCOT’s iconic globe, since the ride’s rehabilitation is postponed indefinitely and will remain open, Clinton said.

Earlier today, a post on the Disney Careers site shows that Disney is looking for applicants for their cultural programs, but the positions won’t begin until 2021.

The Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are set to reopen on July 11th while EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will both reopen July 15th.

The Walt Disney World Food and Beverage Union (Local 737) sent out a list of restaurants and Resort hotels that are beginning to recall their Cast Members.

The list was shared on their Orlando Hotel and Restaurant Workers Movement Facebook page Wednesday evening.

According to the union, the furloughed workers at these select dining locations are being called to return to work beginning June 14.

At this time, no official announcement has been made from Disney suggesting that any of the restaurants listed above will be opening on a certain date. The Disney Vacation Club Resorts listed are set to reopen on June 22, 2020.
