Next Monday, Old Port Royale will reopen at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort along with a host of new island offerings like Banana Cabana, Calypso Trading Post, Centertown Market, Sebastian’s Bistro and a new front desk and concierge area.
Additionally, Caribbean Beach will transition to using Victory Way as the new primary entrance and it will be staffed with security starting October 5th. On October 8th, guests and cast members will no longer be able to access the resort through the Buena Vista Drive entrance and buses will only be able to enter and exit through Victory Way.
Caribbean Beach is also undergoing the following island name changes: Trinidad North will become Barbados, Trinidad South will become Trinidad.
Until Old Port Royale’s reopening on October 8th, the following locations will be unavailable:
- Martinique Island Market
- Food & Beverage pavilion
- Food Truck and Banana Cabana trailer
- Merchandise Kiosk
- Room 3109
- Custom House
Pick-up for Disney’s Magical Express, Disney Cruise Line and luggage will move to Old Port Royale early on October 8th. Also, the Island Markets in Aruba and Jamaica will remain open until further notice. An internal shuttle to Old Port Royale and Custom House will be made available to guests until October 8th.
